2014 In Review

Ahhh, my first year of blogging has concluded. I did not think I would enjoy sharing all of my weird with everyone as much as I have. I thank everyone for reading my tirades and supporting me with all of your encouragement. I really appreciate it, seriously!

Here’s to 2015, which I see as being even cooler, because I will not spend it as an Internet hermit. This year, I will do the blogosphere equivalent to going outside sometimes, taking a walk around the neighborhood, and meeting some people along the way. And I’m really excited about that.

So look out for more rants, more embarrassing stories and awkward adventures, and maybe the occasional deep thought sprinkled here and there. Digital hugs for everyone! New post up soon :)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,400 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 23 trips to carry that many people.

A Short Post, Be Back Soon I Promise

Tonight marks the first day I use my new rice cooker. My step mother got it for me for Christmas. I’m so excited…perhaps too much so…

I put in rice. I put in water. I pushed the button.

But what’s that? It’s not doing anything. Is it working? How do I know if it’s working? There are no lights, where are the lights? Why aren’t there any lights to tell me RICE IS COOKING or GOOD JOB, ADULT PERSON MAKING FOOD FOR YOURSELF. I need something to tell me I am doing correct things!

I didn’t do correct things.

I never plugged it in.

I have a feeling this year’s goal of learning to make sustenance will go¬†SWIMMINGLY WELL!

Don’t you think so?

I think so.

I can smell it.

It smells like rice.

Well…hopefully. There’s a light now.
